Nathicharami: Arvind Krishna, Poonam Kaur starrer to release on 20 OTT platforms on the same day

Actress Poonam Kaur, who made a name for herself in Telugu cinema with films like Mayajalam, Nagavalli, Eenadu and Souryam, is making a comeback with a film titled Nathicharami. She's cast alongside Arvind Krishna in the drama that also stars Sandesh Buri in a crucial role. The film scripted and directed by Nagu Gavara is presented by Shrilaxmi Enterprises and bankrolled by Jai Vaishnavi K under A Studio 24 Frames' Jai Vaishnavi K. The trailer of Nathicharami was launched recently.

The film's shoot and post-production formalities have been completed and it is all to set to release in as many as 20 OTT platforms on the same day i.e. March 10. Nathicharami will stream simultaneously on Amazon Prime Video, Hungama, Sony, Tata Sky, Airtel Xtreme, MX Player, to name. The cast and crew associated with the film spoke about their making experiences with the media.  

Poonam Kaur felt no man, who casts an evil eye on a woman, has been spared in his life and that the epics are great proof of the same. When the director Nagu Gavara had narrated the script to the actress, she took a liking to it almost instantly and felt it was very close to her life. "I had plans of getting married and settling abroad in 2007 but the film bug bit me and I stood through the thick and thin and battled all odds to make a mark in the industry," she said, calling Nathicharami, a crime-based family drama that taps into the emotions between a married couple.

Director Nagu Gavara, lavishing praise on his team said that Nathicharami is a film with intense situations, good dialogues and memorable performances. He said that the film is based on true incidents and revolves around the trauma experienced by a family that had shifted to the US during the Y2K phase. Nagu added that he only had Poonam Kaur in the mind for the role of Sreelatha and also applauded Arvind Krishna for his subtle performance. 

Arvind Krishna called Nathicharami a special film in his career and labelled it a rare opportunity for him to cater to the sensibilities of family audiences. Nathicharami is about a couple's promise, he stated. "What are the complications they face in upholding that promise? This is the crux of the film. Poonam has been a great co-star and Nagu Gavara has guided me well for the film. I am sure audiences will like it."

Actor Sandesh Buri mentioned that Nathicharami is a milestone film in his career and promised good performances and thrills for audiences. "The story talks about the many problems women face in relationships and the difficulty of staying true to one's ethics, principles during the hour of crisis. Nathicharami is a powerful title for an equally powerful story," he signed off. Jayasri Rachakonda too expressed her confidence about the film and it's ability to appeal to viewers of different tastes. Kavitha, Madhavi, Krishna, and Sathanna also essay important roles.
