Vivek dedicates his award to those affected by terrorism
Vivek has said that he would like to dedicate the National Award to those affected by terrorism. “We’re living in times where there’s a lot of terrorism. People are persecuted to recognize a film which addresses persecution and terrorism head-on. Recognizing it for National Awards is not a matter of honour for us but it is also a tribute to all those people who are suffering because of terrorism,” he told DD National.
Pallavi Joshi wins too
Vivek’s wife Pallavi Joshi has also won an award. “It becomes more special because this is the second time that both of us are winning as a couple. It is such a rare thing to happen, so, it’s a great feeling,” she said.
