Naveen Chandra and Ishaan 'roast' each other as they promote Disney+ Hotstar’s Parampara Season 2

A good marketing/promotional strategy has become extremely important in times where there’s more supply than demand in the market. This is true more in the case of OTT content where there are abundant options available for the viewers and it’s crucial to stand out. Ahead of the Telugu show Parampara Season 2’s release on Disney+ Hotstar, the streaming giant has unveiled an interesting promo featuring its lead actors Naveen Chandra and Ishaan, where they take a dig at one another.

Naveen Chandra and Ishaan belong to the third-generation of a highly-reputed political family in Vizag in the show. Jagapathi Babu and Sarathkumar play their on-screen fathers in the show and the bitterness from their past leaves their kids uneasy too. To what extent will they go to fight for dignity and establish their supremacy? In coherence with the show’s theme, Naveen and Ishaan find various ways to insult each other humorously.

The promo begins with Naveen commenting about Ishaan’s career and their ‘verbal’ rivalry extends to the way they look, the clothes they wear, their choices and the duo is very cool and casual about the banter. Despite touching upon sensitive issues in their lives, the actors appear extremely sportive and tell audiences that nothing about their conversation was meant to be taken seriously. The video promotes Hotstar’s show while also showcasing the actors’ off-screen persona. A job done well!

Aamani, Kasthuri, Aakanksha Singh, Naina Ganguly, Murali Mohan and others too play important roles in the show helmed by Vishwanath Arigela and Krishna Vijay L. Parampara’s first season released in December 2021 and was one of the most-watched Telugu shows on Disney+ Hotstar. The second season is set to premiere on July 21. The show’s trailer was launched by Ram Charan, who came on board as the brand ambassador for the platform last year.
