Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan to tie the knot in June?

If the buzz in the industry is to go by, actress Nayanthara and her beau Vignesh Shivan are likely to tie the knot on June 9th in Tirupati. The ceremony, we hear, will be an intimate affair. However, there has been no official announcement on the same. Time and again, reports of the duo tying the knot have been hitting the internet. Nayantara had told a news channel that the duo were engaged and that their engagement was a simple affair in the presence of their families. She had also stated that she would make the announcement about her wedding once things are firmed up.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan fell in love on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015). The film directed by Vignesh Sivan, had Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. Since then pictures of Vignesh and Nayanthara would often pop up on the internet. Vignesh, too shared quite a few pictures of their trips and celebrations.

On the film front, the duo is basking in the success of the romantic comedy Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal. Though the film received mixed reviews from the critics, it seems to have become a hit among the audience. As a thanksgiving gesture, Vignesh Shivan and the film's leading lady Nayanthara, paid a visit to Shirdi recently. 

Vignesh, who shared a picture of the duo from the temple, captioned it, "From Shiridi wit my Kanmani.. gratitude trip to meet Sai Baba for all the lovely moments. #KaathuVaakulaRenduKaadhal #blessed #Blockbuster #ThanksGiving (sic)." 

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal has Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha playing the leads. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing by Sreekar Prasad. While Vignesh Shivan is gearing up for his next project with Ajith, Nayanthara is working on O2, the title of which was announced only yesterday. It looks like the duo have a busy schedule after their wedding.
