PremiumNBK107: Lal joins Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shruti Haasan’s new film

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next project has gotten fans stoked ever since makers announced the news of the upcoming mass entertainer being in the works. Tentatively titled NBK107, each update from the film seems to add to the palpable excitement, and it was recently announced that another big name has been added to the film’s already stellar cast.
According to a report in IANS, Lal is the latest star to come on board for the film and he is expected to essay a crucial and interesting role in the same. The actor took to his official social media handles to announce the news, sharing the first look poster of the film as well.

In addition to Balakrishna and Lal, Shruti Haasan will play the female lead in the upcoming film. The film also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Duniya Vijay in pivotal roles, with the latter essaying the role of the film’s main antagonist.
The film is directed by Gopichandh Malineni, known for directing films like Balupu (2013) and Krack (2021), and marks his third collaboration with Haasan. The upcoming film is bankrolled under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.
The film’s soundtrack is composed by S Thaman and has dialogues penned by Sai Madhav Burra.
Meanwhile, the actor-filmmaker Lal’s last Telugu film was the 2019 action thriller Saaho. The film, which starred Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor was also shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil. Lal is also awaiting the release of his Malayalam film, Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali starrer Mahaveeryar and will also be seen in the Tamil film, Ponniyin Selvan as well.
