NBK108: Nandamuri Balakrishna-Anil Ravipudi combo’s title launch just got bigger

Director Anil Ravipudi, who enjoys a enviable success record in Telugu cinema, understands audiences’ pulse like no other filmmaker in the industry. While he’s made a career out of comedies and entertainers to date, he’s teaming up with Nandamuri Balakrishna for an intense actioner, NBK108, set for a Dussehra release this year. Shine Screens is bankrolling the project.

Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead in the film while Sreeleela is cast as Balakrishna’s niece in the same. Arjun Rampal is set to make his Telugu debut with the prestigious project. Meanwhile, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a grand title launch event commemorating Balakrishna’s birthday tomorrow i.e. June 10.

Sharing a special connection with NBK108, the team plans to unveil the film’s logo and title across 108 locations in Telugu states. Yes, you heard it right. NBK108 makers will install hoardings of the title posters across 108 locations tomorrow. The muhurtam time has been fixed for the same as well - 9.10 am. Several other surprises related to NBK108 are lined up for tomorrow.

A special motion poster unveiling the title is also expected to be out. S Thaman would hope to please Balakrishna fans yet again after his consecutive hits with the star - Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy. C Ram Prasad, who also cranked the camera for Akhanda, is the cinematographer. Tammiraju is the editor and Rajeevan is the production designer for the same. V Venkat directs the stunts.

Meanwhile, there are several reports doing the rounds that Balakrishna is joining hands with Waltair Veerayya director Bobby Kolli for a mass entertainer that’ll officially be announced tomorrow. He is also in talks with Venkatesh Maha and Prasanth Varma for their upcoming projects. His son Mokshagna will be launched as an actor in the coming months.
