Nandamuri Balakrishna is in the form of his life as an actor. His OTT debut as a talk show host for Unstoppable with NBK across two seasons was a raging success while he scored two consecutive hits in the form of Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy recently. He’s next teaming up with Anil Ravipudi for an action entertainer titled Bhagavanth Kesari, whose teaser was launched today.
Commemorating the star’s birthday, a new project was announced as well. He is joining forces with Waltair Veerayya, Power director Bobby Kolli for a violent actioner. S Naga Vamsi, in collaboration with Sai Soujanya (Trivikram’s wife), is bankrolling the film under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios is presenting the much-awaited film.
Tentatively titled NBK109, the pooja ceremony was held in the presence of Balakrishna, Bobby Kolli and Naga Vamsi today. Two composers are in talks for the project - Anirudh Ravichander and Devi Sri Prasad. The team is considering both names for the music. While Anirudh hasn’t worked with Balakrishna yet, Devi Sri Prasad composed rollicking tunes for the star’s hit Legend before.
Sharing his happiness, the director tweeted, “On this special day, Delighted to share the collaboration with the Charismatic ‘Natasimham' #NandamuriBalakrishna garu for #NBK109. The auspicious pooja ceremony took place today, marking the beginning of an incredible cinematic adventure.
