NBK109: Nandamuri Balakrishna’s action thriller releasing in May 2024?

Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is riding high in the saddle, thanks to his recent hits. And he has now joined the production of his 109th film, NBK109, helmed by Bobby Kolli. The upcoming movie is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Earlier, there were speculations that Balakrishna’s movie might clash with NTR’s Devara. However, speaking of the latest, it is reported that the makers of the film are aiming for a May 2024 release instead.

The film’s lead actress is yet to be announced. Devi Sri Prasad is composing its music, while the production is backed by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas. NBK109 is touted to be a high-octane, action-packed mass entertainer with a substantial budget.

Marking the commencement of NBK109’s filming, the makers had recently released a new poster of the movie on their social media pages. It featured Lord Hanuman’s amulet, tied to an axe along with a pair of shades. The excitement surrounding this action-packed spectacle was fueled by captivating phrases like ‘Blood Bath’s Brand Identity’ and ‘Violence as a Calling Card’, hinting at a gripping action thriller.

Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari earns over ₹132 crores at the box office

Meanwhile, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest blockbuster Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi, continues to do well at the box office globally. The movie was released on October 19, and has raked in more than ₹132 crores worldwide so far. The high-voltage action drama film also features Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela, Priyanka Jawalkar, John Vijay and Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal in key roles.
