Neel Bhattacharya meets David Beckham, opens up about his experience

Undoubtedly, David Beckham is the flavour of the season right now. After all the Bollywood celebrities queuing up for a photo op with the English footballer, it is our very own Neel Bhattacharya who met him on Thursday at an event in Mumbai. Actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja hosted a party for the football star. A number of Bollywood celebrities, including Karishma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapur, and others, were spotted at the party.

On November 16, Beckham and Sara Ali Khan attended an event hosted by Meta. Several content creators attended the event where Beckham shared his experience. Neel was invited by Meta. “It was an amazing event. Beckham expressed his ideas and philosophy with us. He said that as content creators we have our share of responsibilities to be kinder, more compassionate, and empathetic,” said Neel. He shared a group photo with the English footballer. 

Talking about his experience, Neel said, “It was insane – almost surreal. He was expressing his life stories. He is inspiring. He was talking about ethics and family values. He also talked about the difficult times and hardship. Watching him right in front of us was quite an experience.”

Beckham also attended the semi-final match between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. His life is captured in the Netflix docuseries, Beckham.
