Acharya, one of the most anticipated action entertainers starring Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde and Sonu Sood in lead roles, directed by Kortala Siva, is gearing up for a release on February 4, 2022. Ace music director Mani Sharma is composing the tracks for the project. The first single of Acharya unveiled earlier this year, Laahe Laahe, went onto be one of the most viewed lyrical videos on YouTube and received positive responses all over. Now, the team of Acharya is all set to launch the second single, Neelambari, on November 5.

Announcing the same, actress Pooja Hegde tweeted, "A memorable melody from #Manisharma to take you back in time. #Acharya second single #Neelambari releasing on 5th Nov at 11:07 AM. #AcharyaOnFeb4th." She also shared a poster of the song featuring herself and Ram Charan in a romantic pose, where the former is seen holding a flute, dressed in a half-sari, while Ram Charan dons a saffron kurta. This is the first time that Ram Charan (in the role of Siddha) and Pooja Hegde are paired together in a film, though they'll only be seen in extended special appearances.

Acharya is produced by Nirajan Reddy under Matinee Entertainment in collaboration with Chiranjeevi's home banner Konidela Production Company. The film's shoot took off in October 2019 and underwent several delays in the making owing to the two waves of the COVID-19 pandemic. The film is cinematographed by S Thirunavukkarasu, with Navin Nooli, the National award-winning technician for Jersey, as the editor. Actress Trisha was originally paired opposite Chiranjeevi in the film and later opted out due to creative differences.
