Tovino Thomas is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in Malayalam cinema today. But the actor never seems to have let his stardom affect his humility and remains as down to Earth as ever. The Neelavelicham actor recently shared one of his fanboy movements with yet another superstar, Ponniyin Selvan 2 actor Chiyaan Vikram.

Taking to his official Instagram, Tovino shared a few pictures he took with Vikram, and penned a heartfelt note. “A moment of pure, uncontainable fandom!”, began Tovino’s note. Talking about how elated he was to have met Vikram, Tovino went on to talk about the impact Vikram and his films had on Tovino’s life. The Neelavelicham actor went on to praise Vikram. “To top the style, charm and superabilities, he speaks with such humility and aknowledgement (sic)”, wrote Tovino of Vikram.

Parthiban and Lal, is slated to release in theatres on April 28, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Tovino’s most recent release came in the form of Neelavelicham, which also stars Rima Kallingal, Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko. The Ashiq Abu directorial is based on Vaikom Muhammed Basheer’s short story of the same name, which had previously been adapted into the 1964 film Bargavi Nilayam, which Basheer had also scripted.
