The last episode of the Zee Bangla serial Pilu had its telecast on Sunday. Mithai, once a leader on the TRP list, has replaced Pilu at 6 pm after its plummeting ranking. Now, a popular actress of Pilu, Soumi Chakraborty, is returning to Zee Bangla in an important role in the serial Neem Fuler Madhu. In fact, Dhrubojyoti Sarkar, who played Mallar, is playing an important character in Mithai.

The acting of Soumi as Raima in Pilu has won the hearts of many. She first came to attention for the serial Rani Rashmoni. Then she worked in a number of Zee Bangla serials. Now she will appear as Ruchira in Neem Fuler Madhu. Soumi, in her Instagram post, said, “I will return as Ruchira on November 14 on Zee Bangla at 8 pm. You must watch Neem Fuler Madhu and garner it with love. Please be with me, love me, and bless me so that I can keep on doing good work. Thank you Zee Bangla.”

How will she look at the new serial? She flaunted her look in her post. In the photos, she is seen in a blue salwar kameez. She has a side bag, her hair is untied and she is wearing jhumkas, all of which give her a cute, girl-next-door look.

Pallavi Sharma and Rubel Das play the protagonist in Neem Fuler Madhu. Pallavi is making her comeback after a long hiatus. The film delves into the post-marriage adjustment traumas of the protagonist. Can the mamma's-boy Srijan be an ideal husband of Parna? The serial will tell this story. The promo shows that Parna gets married to a conservative family. It is an arranged marriage. Can she adjust to a husband controlled by his mother? The first look shows that Parna's support system will be her husband’s grandmother. She tells Parna, “Marriage is Neem Fuler Madhu (bitter honey) in the first year. If you cross the bitterness, you can find honey.”
