Prior to its Friday (October 24) theatrical release, the trailer for the upcoming Malayalam movie Nellikkampoyil Night Riders has been released by the film's makers. With Mathew Thomas as the lead, the trailer subtly suggests a fantasy horror comedy that will be available for viewing in theatres this week.

In the trailer, Mathew Thomas plays Shyam, a hopeless romantic who faces his greatest fear with the help of his group of friends. A few action scenes also suggest that, in contrast to his previous roles, he will be portraying an enraged character in this movie. The trailer also shows a glimpse of a ghost and a mysterious entity.

The movie was earlier slated to hit the big screen on October 10 but was postponed due to unspecified reasons. However, it was just announced that Nellikkampoyil Night Riders will debut on October 24 in cinemas. As of right now, no other Malayalam films are planned for the same release date.

Nellikkampoyil Night Riders marks the directorial debut of acclaimed editor Noufal Abdullah. He is well-known for his parts in a number of popular Malayalam films, including The Great Father, Kettiyolaanu Ente Malakha, and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. Night Riders was written by Jyothish M and Sunu A V. Vishnu Agasthya, Roshan Shanavas, Abu Salim, Rony David Raj, Sharath Sabha, Merin Philip, Sinil Zainuddin, Noushad Ali, Chaithra Praveen, and Naseer Sankranti have supporting roles in the movie.
