Nenu Super Woman: aha comes up with a new reality show for women entrepreneurs

Telugu OTT platform, aha, which has carved its niche in the non-fiction arena in the regional streaming space, is embarking on another new endeavour this year. Their next big release is Nenu Super Woman, a Shark Tank-styled entrepreneurial show aimed to provide a facelift to female entrepreneurs across the Telugu states and beyond. A glimpse of the show, calling out for entries, was launched today.

The glimpse of Nenu Super Woman introduces viewers the show’s panelist, mentor figure and investor Rohit Chennamaneni, the co-founder of the reputed HR-management software Darwinbox. “For me, business is problem-solving. Only when you offer a scalable solution to your problem, the business will be successful,” the entrepreneur starts with a word of advice for aspirants.

Rohit recollected how he battled global competition like Oracle, SAP seven years ago to establish Darwinbox and capture market share in a unique way. “In our country, women always come up with solutions to any problem well and I believe in their entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills. To help the dreams of many such super women come true, I’ll be joining aha’s Nenu Super Woman,” he said.

Calling for pitches in their attempt to make India a ‘powerhouse of women entrepreneurs’, aha shared the eligibility criteria for women to participate in the show. The show is open for women who’re 18 and above, requiring them to be an Indian citizen and resident. Their company needs to be registered in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, with a woman having a minimum 51% share in the enterprise.

The applicants need to be full-time entrepreneurs and the company, which can belong to any sector and stage, needs to be profitable. The launch date of the show is yet to be announced.
