Nenu Super Woman on OTT: Telangana government, We Hub announce Super Woman Fund for women-led startups

Nenu Super Woman is yet another example to prove how serious is the OTT platform aha about exploring uncharted terrains in non-fiction content in the digital medium. Hosted by Sreerama Chandra, the show provides an opportunity for female entrepreneurs to showcase their product among a group of elite entrepreneurs a.k.a Angles who’re game to invest in their ideas.

The investors in the show include Rohit Chennamaneni (co-founder of Darwinbox), Sridhar Gadhi (founder of Quantela Inc) Renuka Bodla, (Venture Partner of Silverneedle Ventures), Sudhakar Reddy (Founder and CEO of Abhi Bus), Dodla Deepa Reddy (Founder of Dodla Dairy), Karan Bajaj (Bajaj Electronics) and Sindhura Narayana (Director of Narayana Colleges).

Across three weeks, six episodes of the show are streaming on aha already, with Angels investing over Rs 3 crore in the companies owned by the contestants already. There’s another exciting development to aha’s initiative in the fourth week, where Jayesh Ranjan of Telangana government and Deepti Ravula from WeHub have announced a Super Woman Fund.

Expressing his happiness about the initiative, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary for Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (ITE&C) and Industries & Commerce Departments of Government of Telangana, said T-Hub and WeHub are united in their effort to support entrepreneurs. “Super Woman Fund will be boost to budding female entrepreneurs, who want to scale up their startups and better their business prospects,” he added.

While WeHub will guide contestants on making the best use of this fund, Telangana government is looking forward to collaborations with the contestants of Nenu Super Woman participants. In the fourth week, Angels in the show are gearing up to invest an impressive Rs 85 lakh across multiple companies. The latest episodes of Nenu Super Woman will be out on aha on August 11, 12 at 7 pm.
