Nesippaya OTT release date: Where and when to stream Aditi Shankar and Akash Murali’s romantic action film

Nesippaya, the 2025 Tamil romantic action drama starring Aditi Shankar and Akash Murali in his debut, will begin streaming very soon. The film, which was released in January 2025, had not found a digital home. But after about five months of release, Nesippaya is heading to SunNXT and Lionsgate Play and will premiere on May 16.

Nesippaya was one among the slew of Pongal releases this year. The film starred Akash Murali, son of veteran actor Murali and Atharvaa’s brother, in his debut. Alongside him, Aditi Shankar played the female lead in the film directed by Vishnuvardhan, who is known for Pattiyal and Sarvam.

After five months of its release, Nesippaya is set to premiere on SunNXT and Lionsgate Play on May 16. You can watch the film on OTTplay Premium as well. The romantic action film is majorly set in Portugal. It revolves around two lovers who face a difference of opinion and separate, with the girlfriend getting a job abroad. But after the girlfriend gets blamed for a murder in the European country, it is up to the hero to save her from the crime game and unveil what is happening around her.

Produced by XB Film Creators, the film features an ensemble star cast, including actors R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Kalki Koechlin, Khushbu, and others. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography handled by Cameron Eric Bryson and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
