Dhamaka marks Kartik Aaryan's Netflix debut and the makers also announced when the trailer will be out.

Like Kartik Aaryan hinted earlier about Dhamaka's Netflix release date, the film is indeed dropping around his birthday. The actor who turns a year older on November 22, will have his upcoming film hitting the streaming platform on November 19, 2021. Netflix announced the release date of Dhamaka with an intriguing poster featuring Kartik and also burning Bandra Worli Sea Link in Mumbai.
Dhamaka follows the story of an ex-news anchor Arjun Pathak, played by Kartik, who is given another chance to go live on prime-time television when a terrorist calls him with a bomb threat. But little does he know that this call will change his life and throw him into a fast-paced game of betrayal.
The trailer for Dhamaka will be out tomorrow that is, October 19, 2021, a month ahead of the streaming date of the film.
Along with Kartik, Dhamaka also features Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar and Vishwajeet Pradhan in pivotal roles. Moreover, Mrunal Thakur will be seen in a special appearance in the film.
Dhamaka is directed by Ram Madhvani and the filmmaker co-wrote the movie with Puneet Sharma. While Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP and Ram Madhvani & Amita Madhvani of Ram Madhvani Films have produced the Netflix original film.
For the uninitiated, Dhamaka is the Hindi remake of the 2013 South Korean action-thriller film The Terror Live starring Ha Jung-woo in the leading role.
The film marks Kartik's OTT debut and interestingly, the actor wrapped the shoot of Dhamaka in just about 10 days amid the coronavirus pandemic. The actor shot for the film inside a hotel and a few promos and stills were appreciated by the netizens.
Talking about the director Ram Madhvani, this is the filmmaker's second OTT outing after Disney+ Hotstar original Aarya featuring Sushmita Sen in the titular role. He is also known for directing the hard-hitting Sonam K Ahuja starring film Neerja which hit the theatres in 2016.
