Netflix India 2026 Slate: Saif Ali Khan's Kartavya, Manoj Bajpayee's Ghooskhor Pandat, Rajkummar Rao's Toaster announced

On February 3, Netflix India announced their 2026 slate. From Saif Ali Khan's Hum Hindustani, Sunny Deol-Akshaye Khanna's Ikka, to Bhuvan Bam's Dhindora Season 2, several films and series are coming to the platform. Now, they also announced that Manoj Bajpayee's Ghooskhor Pandat, Neena Gupta's Chumbak, and Rajkummar Rao's Toaster are gearing up for their Netflix release. 

Manoj Bajpayee's Ghooskhor Pandat

Ghooskhor Pandat is an upcoming crime thriller, announced at the Next on Netflix 2026 event. The project is a collaboration with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, known for Special 26 and Special Ops.

Manoj Bajpayee is in the lead role of Ajay Dikshit/Pandat), Nushrratt Bharuccha, Saqib Saleem, Akshay Oberoi, and Divya Dutta play key role. The story centers on a corrupt police officer, Ajay Dikshit (nicknamed 'Pandat'), whose greed-fueled night turns into chaos amidst a global conspiracy in Delhi.

The project brings together Manoj Bajpayee and Neeraj Pandey, a combination often associated with critically acclaimed, gritty thrillers. The title "Ghooskhor" (bribe-taker) indicates a morally ambiguous protagonist, which plays into Manoj Bajpayee's strengths in intense, layered character roles. The film is rooted in Delhi, utilizing the city's atmosphere to heighten the tension of the "global conspiracy".

Neena Gupta's Chumbak

Chumbak is an upcoming Netflix comedy family drama starring Neena Gupta, Arjun Bijlani, Sumeet Vyas, and others. The film is from the makers of Khichdi Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. The announcement video shows the family involved in chaos over clicking a group photo. It is produced by JD Majethia, and written and directed by Aatish Kapadia.

Rajkummar Rao's Toaster

Toaster was supposed to be released in 2025, but it was postponed. The upcoming comedy film starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, directed by Vivek Daschaudhary. Rao plays a frugal, obsessive character named Ramakant who triggers a series of chaotic, murderous events over a 5,000 INR toaster gifted at a wedding. It is a dark comedy expected in 2025.
