K-drama fans rejoice, for we have exciting news for you! A new K-drama, Queen of Tears, is slated to be released on Netflix this month. Popular actor Kim Soo-Hyun is coming back with a quirky romance with this series, and this is the first time that he will be seen starring alongside Kim Ji-Won. They play a married couple in Queen of Tears.
A virtual meeting with Queen of Tears stars
To increase the excitement around the series, Netflix is giving fans a special opportunity to virtually meet Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won. That's right! A virtual live global press conference will be held tomorrow (March 7) at 8 pm IST on the Netflix K-Content YouTube Channel. This is just two days before the release of Queen of Tears on March 9, 2024.
Apart from Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won, you can also meet Park Sung-Hoon, Kwak Dong-Yeon, and Lee Joo-Been, who have pivotal roles in Queen of Tears. Director-duo Jang Young-Woo and Kim Hee-Won are the others who will be present at the press conference.

Kim Soo-Hyun plays Baek Hyun-Woo, the legal director of Queens Group and husband to the powerful department store heiress, Hong Hae-In (played by Kim Ji-Won). Baek Hyun-Woo is a picture of perfection, blessed with both striking good looks and a sharp mind. He had passed out of a prestigious law school and was raised in a privileged environment. In contrast, Hong Hae-In is rather creepy.
Baek Hyun-Woo has kept some secrets hidden for several years, not even sharing them with his wife. Things get difficult for him when his wife's family forces him to choose between work and his personal life. A major crisis shakes things up, and suddenly Baek Hyun-Woo's whole life crumbles. Kim Soo-Hyun's rise to fame
Although he has starred in several K-dramas before, Kim Soo-Hyun rose to fame with It's Okay To Not Be Okay (2020). He was last seen in One Ordinary Day (2021). It is interesting to note that Kim Soo-Hyun is the richest actor in South Korea currently. On the other hand, Kim Ji-Won is popular for starring in Fight For My Way (2017), Lovestruck In The City (2020), and My Liberation Notes (2022).
