Adam McKay's upcoming feature Average Height, Average Build will bring together Hollywood stars Robert Downey Jr., Robert Pattinson, Amy Adams, Forest Whitaker and Danielle Deadwyler, and it looks the much-awaited has found its buyer. As reported by Deadline, Netflix and McKay are set to unite for the second time as the streaming giant acquires the aforementioned film; previously, Adam McKay wrote, co-produced, and directed the black comedy film Don't Look Up (starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, and several others) which premiered on Netflix in 2021 following a very limited theatrical release.

McKay is best known for writing and directing successful films like The Anchorman 1 & 2, Step Brothers and The Big Short. Along with frequent collaborator and production partner, Will Ferrell, he has executive-produced films like Daddy's Home, The Menu and the very highly regarded HBO show Succession. Adam McKay also directed the pilot episode of the Golden Globe winning show which stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Matthew Macfadyen and several others.

As far as Average Height, Average Build is concerned, the same report informs that the film will be in line with McKay's more recent work which tactfully blends black humour and systemic corruption. In the film, Robert Pattinson portrays the role of a serial killer with Downey Jr. playing the part of a retired cop and Amy Adams seen as a lobbyist. This is McKay's first collaboration as a director with both Pattinson and Downey Jr. whereas Amy Adams has already featured as the female lead of the 2018 film Vice, which also Christain Bale.
