Netflix releases trailer of interactive WWE-themed special, Escape the Undertaker

Netflix has released a trailer of Escape the Undertaker, a WWE-themed interactive special that's part of its Halloween lineup. 

The trailer features the popular wrestler Mark William Calaway, who retired in November last year, as he sets a trap for the New Day — Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E — who are trying to take an urn from the former's mansion. What they don't know is that The Undertaker's house is a haunted house that will make them face their worst fears.

"It's up to viewers to decide the fate of these three poor souls trying to survive the wrath of The Undertaker," says the official synopsis. 

The trailer shows that The Undertaker has his eyes on the three intruders, who he knows are trying to steal his urn. The special does not seem scary per se, it's more along the campy Hollywood horror films from back in the '90s and early 2000s. 

Escape the Undertaker is like Netflix's interactive film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, where the audience decided how story ends. Another was Kimmy vs the Reverend, notes Screen Rant, which was inspired by the show The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Escape the Undertaker releases on Netflix on October 5.
