Netflix’s Mismatched Season 2: Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf promise to sustain the allure and charm of the teenage romance

Mismatched fans were in for a special treat today as Netflix dropped an announcement video for the second season of the popular coming of age rom-com, oozing with the delightful appeal that promises to lure in even the harshest sceptics. Starring Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli, the show had become an instant hit with fans who became invested in the odd couple’s story.

The announcement video opens with a stunningly lit, regal looking hall, where we see Rohit Saraf slide into the scene with his usual charisma. As we follow the impeccably dressed star through the mansion we also witness the rest of the cast, grooving to the music as they take the viewer along with them. The video ends with a shot of the stars together, posing against a breathtaking background of the exterior of the sprawling bungalow.

An adaptation of the 2017 novel, When Dimple Met Rishi, by Sandhya Menon, the coming of age drama focuses on a contemporary tale of young love, between a tech-savvy, ambitious young woman and a young man, whose idea of love is rooted in more traditional aspects. With phenomenal chemistry between the two leads and strong performances by the cast, the feel-good series earned the approval of fans for its first season, with Netflix giving the green light for the second.
