Season 4 of Never Have I Ever is finally out and fans are unwilling to bid goodbye to the show just yet. The show co-created by Mindy Kaling (with Lang Fisher) utilizes her own experiences growing up a South Asian in the U.S. with Maitreyi Ramakrishnan playing the semi-fictional version.

Though the show is broadly classified as a 'teen drama', its endearing take on teen life and the associated conundrums has managed to transcend all kinds of boundaries among its global audience. For the Indian audience, in particular, the show is extra special because it has successfully managed to break the stereotypes that were previously attached to South Asian characters in Hollywood.

And coming to the emotional finale episode that dropped on June 8, the makers not only tugged at the heartstrings of the viewers but also sprung a pleasant surprise on all the Pushpa: The Rise fans out there. Those who have caught the episode would know what we are referring but those who haven't would love to know that Devi (Ramakrishnan) and Kamala (Richa Moorjani) put together a vibrant dance performance on the very popular song Saami Saami (Tamil version).

For obvious reasons, the scene featuring the performance has caught the attention of social media, including the very person who made those dance moves popular across the world. Rashmika Mandanna, who grooved elegantly to Devi Sri Prasad's beats in Pushpa: The Rise, was pleasantly surprised to know that she is part of the show in spirit and had no reservations in showering love and praise on Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.

"Stunner! you did sooooo gooooooddddd. ❤️ sending you full love ❤️" said Rashmika in her tweet.

Coming back to Never Have I Ever Season 4, though there was a lot at stake for Devi at the beginning of the finale season, many opine that the showrunners opted for a slightly sentimental and predictable manner to go about things. While the dedicated fans haven't been all that harsh, critical reviews have noted that the ending was a bit too 'neat' to their liking.
