New mama Sonam Kapoor is a proud parent as she treats fans to the sweetest glimpse of son Vayu; watch

Baby fever seems to have taken a hold of Bollywood of late, with some of the biggest stars in the industry having been blessed with the gift of parenthood this year. One among them was Sonam Kapor, who gave birth to her first child with husband Anand Ahuja, this year. Sonam has not shied away from sharing some lovely glimpses into her parenthood journey as a first time mom. The actress recently shared a small glimpse into a lovely day she spent with her family.

In the video, Sonam and Anand are seen driving through a picturesque route dotted with trees on either side, with Vayu snuggled in the back seat. The duo are seen making some precious memories with their son, carrying him through the scenic Austrian countryside. Sonam’s parents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor also join in the fun day out.

Sonam shared the delightful video, set to the tune of Taylor Swift’s Sweet Nothings track, on her official social media and captioned it “Verified

Sonam publicly announced her pregnancy in March this year. The actress gave birth to her son Vayu on August 20. The actress had even shared with her fans the reasoning behind picking her son’s name as Vayu, in a social media post.

Sonam is not the only Bollywood diva to have become a first time mom this year. Alia Bhatt welcomed her first child, a daughter, with Ranbir Kapoor this month. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover also became first time parents this month as well.

On the work side, Sonam will next be seen in the upcoming film Blind. The Shome Makhija directorial will reportedly be an OTT release. The makers are yet to finalise the film’s release date and platform.
