Actress Parineeti Chopra and politico Raghav Chadha’s love story is like no other. Though they had known each other since their graduation days, little did they know that they would one day decide to get married to each other.

On May 13, the celebrity couple got engaged in the presence of their family and close friends. The engagement ceremony took place at the Kapurthala House in a posh locality in the national capital. Several high-profile celebrities including Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, and singer Mika Singh attended the gala affair.

Not only this, but Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and politician Kapil Sibal were present at the do.

While on the day of the event, the celebrity couple shared mushy-mushy photos of each other, Parineeti’s brother Shivang has dropped fresh pictures of the engagement bash. 

In one of the pictures, Parineeti and her brother Shivang can be seen wiping tears from the face of their father. This picture is indeed too cute to miss. Shivang captioned it: “The parents. The family.”

To this post, Parineeti quickly responded with a giggle and said, “Only problem, in these photos, is you (Shivang).”

Parineeti, for those unaware, shares a great bond with her brothers Shivang and Sahaj Chopra. She is often seen posting pictures with her loved ones – with Raghav Chadha being the latest one to join the bandwagon.

The Chadha-Chopra engagement ceremony was full of traditional rituals which was later followed by snacks and dinner. On the special day, Parineeti chose to wear a cream white coloured traditional attire designed by Manish Malhotra whereas Raghav chose to wear clothes designed by his uncle Pawan Sachdeva.

Soon after the development, several celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and others congratulated the couple.
