A promo from Parthiban's upcoming film Iravin Nizhal was released today. The film is said to be the world's first non-linear single-shot feature film and Parthiban is being lauded for his unique attempt at storytelling. In the recent promo, we see Parthiban in his popular avatar of delivering dialogues in a witty style. We get a glimpse of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, too. .The film's running time spans 100 minutes and was entirely filmed on a single shot.

Music for the film is by AR RahmanCinematography for the film is by Arthur A Wilson, while editing is handled by Academy Award winner Craig Mann. Art direction is by RK Vijai Murugan. The star cast for the film includes Robo Shankar, Priyanka Ruth, Brigida Saga, Sneha Kumar, Anand Krishnan, Chandru and others. Lyrics for the songs are by Parthiban, Madhan Karky, Raaki Mowli and Kaduveli Sithar. Academy Award winner Cottalango Leon has handled the VFX.

Taking to his social media page, Parthiban wrote, "New promo of Iravin Nizhal is out now! Check it out https://youtu.be/fUNR3eykjnc @arrahman @shreyagoshal @varusarath5 @GenauRanjith @RVijaimurugan @ArthurWisonA @k33rthana @raakiparthepan @wired_ @Brigidasaga22 @The90skrishna @iamrobosankar @onlynikil (sic)." The film has been mentioned in the Asia and India book of records even before its release.

Composer AR Rahman had stated at the film's audio and trailer launch earlier that he was taken aback by the way portions were being canned. The composer who has visited the set during the shoot, said,"Usually in films, many shots are cut for flashback portions, transitioned, dissolved et al. Here, everything had to rehearsed, including the placement of camera, lens, music etc. Even if one person sneezed on the set, the entire shot had to be redone. The shoot spanned 30-40 days and it was quite interesting to watch it. " Rahman added that it was Parthiban's passion for filmmaking that made him get on board.
