New releases on Lionsgate Play: John Wick: Chapter 4, The Desperate Riders and more

The June 2023 line-up of films on Lionsgate Play is full of action and thrill. Here’s a ready reckoner for you! 

The Devil You Know

Directed by Charles Murray, The Devil You Know is releasing on Lionsgate Play on June 9. Touted as a true test of ‘family is everything’, the crime thriller film makes you question the lengths you would go to to protect your family. Starring Wu Omar Epps, Michael Ealy, Michael Beach, Theo Rossi and Erica Tazel, the plot centres on formerly incarcerated Marcus Cowans, who discovers the possible misdeeds of one of his brothers, and finds himself in a personal dilemma of protecting his brother or protecting the rest of his loved ones. 

The Desperate Riders 

You can start streaming The Desperate Riders on Lionsgate Play from June 16. Helmed by Michael Feifer, the western film takes you to the world of old-school cowboys, who live by the law of the pistol. In a heavyweight matchup of Drew Waters against Trace Adkins, a lonely hero accompanied by a female sharpshooter takes on a nefarious outlaw and rescues a boy’s abducted mother. The movie stars Vanessa Evigan, Sam Ashby and Victoria Pratt.

John Wick: Chapter 4 

The much talked-about Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick: Chapter 4 is releasing on Lionsgate Play on June 23. Directed by Chad Stahelski, the action neo-noir film focuses on John Wick, as he looks to go up against the mighty high table. Given the unlimited resources at the high table’s disposal, John turns to allies Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne and Lance Riddick to help him for the fight of his life.
