New web series alert: What's Ahsaas Channa and Prit Kamani's Half CA about?

On the occasion of National Chartered Accountant Day in India, Amazon miniTV announced a new web series titled Half CA, which stars Ahsaas Channa and Prit Kamani in lead roles.

The story of the series is about the day-to-day lives of students aspiring to become chartered accountants. It revolves around Archi and her friends, the different aspects of preparation and final exams, and throws light on why this is one of the toughest professions in the world.

Talking about the show, Amogh Dusad, Head of Content, Amazon miniTV, said, "Stories of aspiration hold a special place in our lives. Half CA is a story of effort, grit, and seamlessly ties, and the make-or-break drill of CA examinations, but put together in an entertaining way."

The show is created by The Viral Fever, and Amogh believes that it will appeal not only to CA aspirants but to audiences across India.

Ahsaas, who plays the female lead, said, "I am really excited about Half CA since it delves into multiple aspects of the educational world that have so far been untouched. Through my character, one can see the different layers of a teenager trying to make it to the top in a competitive world. This is a riveting coming-of-age story that will strike a chord with everyone who is preparing for CA or any other competitive exam."

The actor also feels that there are moments in the show that can transport the audience to their student days.

Half CA also stars Gyanendra Tripathi, Anmol Kajani, and Rohan Joshi.

The release date of the show has yet to be revealed.
