Upcoming Hollywood flick The Menu has got an addition to their talented cast. After Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes, the makers have roped in Nicholas Hoult to play the leading role in the dark comedy thriller. Mark Mylod who has directed episodes of Game of Thrones and Succession will be helming The Menu while Will Tracy who penned the latter is scripting the film.

Talking about the plot of the film, it's about a young couple, who travel to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu. However, they are in for shocking surprises which makes for the rest of the part of the film.

Meanwhile, Hoult became a household name and fan favourite for his two shows streaming on Hulu namely Crossing Swords and The Great.

In the latter anti-historical series, the actor plays the role of Emperor Peter III and stars alongside Elle Fanning who is seen as Empress Catherine II.

Nicholas received Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globe Awards and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series at Screen Actors Guild Awards.

His last movie outing was Those Who Wish Me Dead co-starring Angelina Jolie, Finn Little, Aidan Gillen, Jake Weber, Medina Senghore and Jon Bernthal.

Talking about Anya, she has won hearts with her incredible performance as Beth Harmon in Netflix drama miniseries The Queen's Gambit. She won the Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film at Golden Globe Awards and Outstanding Actress in a Miniseries or Television Movie at Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Taylor-Joy is currently nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. 

Her upcoming films include Last Night in Soho, The Northman and David O Russell's upcoming directorial.
