Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, the upcoming Tamil film written and directed by Dhanush, has finally locked the release date. The film is all set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025, the makers announced on social media on Wednesday.

We had earlier reported that actor Dhanush will be helming his third directorial titled Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The film will feature a young cast, including actors Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan. On Wednesday, the team announced the release date of the film. Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is all set to release on February 7, 2025. Red Giant Movies will be releasing the film in Tamil Nadu.
The film is written and directed by Dhanush, with GV Prakash Kumar scoring the music. The technical crew also includes Leon Britto as the cinematographer and Prasanna GK handling the edits. Jacki is the art director. Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is produced by Kasthoori Raj and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja under Wunderbar Films.
It is to be noted that the makers had already released two songs from the film, Golden Sparrow and Kadhal Fail from the film. While the plot of the film has not yet been revealed, the promotional content put out so far hints that Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam will appeal to youngsters.
What is Dhanush working on?
Dhanush, who was last seen in Raayan, is currently working on a number of projects. His next direction is titled Idly Kadai which stars Nithya Menen and himself. The film’s release date has been locked on April 10, 2025.
Besides, he also has Kubera with director Sekhar Kammula, and the Hindi film Tere Ishq Mein, along with an Ilaiyaraaja biopic with Arun Matheswaran. All three films are under production and are yet to lock the release dates.
