Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam trailer OUT: Dhanush crafts a ‘usual’ love story for Gen Z audience

The trailer of Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, the upcoming Tamil film, written and directed by Dhanush, was released by the makers on social media on Monday, February 10. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on February 21.

The trailer of Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is out! The film, which is touted to be a love story of the modern age, comes from Dhanush.

The trailer begins with peppy music, with Dhanush saying it is the "usual story", as the scene shifts to a young couple in love, with the boy aspiring to be a chef. The next segment shows another love story of a young couple who are going to get married. Somehow the stories get entwined, and we see a series of twists and turns in the lives of these youngsters. The trailer gives the expectations that the film will cater to the latest audience, as Dhanush requests the audience to come and go happily.

The film features Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan. Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is written and directed by Dhanush. It's his third directorial after Pa Paandi and Raayan.

Dhanush and GV Prakash join hands once again

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam has music by GV Prakash Kumar, in his yet another collaboration with Dhanush. The technical crew includes Leon Britto, the cinematographer, and Prasanna GK, who handles the edits. Jacki is the art director. Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is produced by Kasthoori Raj and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja under Wunderbar Films. The film is slated to release in theatres on February 21, along with Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon.

Director Mari Selvaraj who watched the film, posted his review on social media. “I have to say that after a really long time I got to watch this ‘Usual Love Story’ Yet I was exhilarated by every bit of this world that Dhanush sir had created! This exhilaration will be shared by everyone who watches this film in the theatres!! Every life’s extreme happiness is through the innocence of love!!” he wrote.
