Female-oriented films are not being made as frequently in Telugu cinema these days. However, Naari-The Women is one such film that deeply and emotionally explores womanhood.
The film features popular actress Amani in a lead role and has been produced by Sashi Vantipalli under the banners of She Films and Hyderabad Studios. Directed by Surya Vantipalli, the film’s first song, Nishi Lo Sashi La, was released recently and has become a major talking point.
A special highlight of the song is that it has been sung by none other than Chinmayi, whose powerful rendition adds a unique charm. The lyrics are deeply meaningful, emphasizing how a woman should carry herself and stand strong in a challenging world. The song not only moves listeners emotionally but also delivers a strong message. Composed by Vindo Kumar Vinnu, the tune is both soothing and hard-hitting.
Whenever Chinmayi croons a song, it tends to grab attention, and Nishi Lo Sashi La is no exception. Naari also features Ikas Vasishta, Mounika Reddy, Karthikeya Dev, Pragati, Sunayana, Pramodini, Nitya Sri, Kedar Shankar, and Rajahmundry Sridevi in key roles.
A video clip from the film, featuring a student discussing the hardships and challenges faced by girls in society with her teacher, has gone viral on social media, garnering 7 million views.
With this song release, the makers have also announced that Naari will hit theaters on March 7, 2025, as a special tribute to Women's Day. Meanwhile, another song from the film, Eedu Magadentra Bujji, sung by rapper Sea Shore, has also gained immense popularity, clocking 8 million views.
Speaking about the film, director Surya Vantipalli said, “Audiences always appreciate films with female-oriented themes and those that address women's issues. In this film, you will witness Amani’s incredible acting prowess. The climax will leave you in tears and make everyone reflect.” Watch this space for more updates on this project.
