Actor Nivin Pauly is set to entertain Malayalis with his upcoming film, Sarvam Maya, which will hit the big screen on December 25. The actor discussed a lot of subjects in an interview with Pearle Maaney, including why one should not miss this horror comedy in theatres and why he was perplexed in the early days of his career after a few box office hits.

According to Nivin, Sarvam Maya explores the genre in a more humorous way because neither he nor the film's director, Akhil Sathyan, are not avid horror movie aficionados. "Therefore, there are no scary moments or jumpscares in Sarvam Maya. This holiday season, you can casually take your kids to see this movie in theatres," he remarked. The actor continued by saying that because there is so much to laugh about, the movie is set up so that viewers of all ages may fully enjoy it. He had previously stated in an interview that this was his first attempt at this genre and that he thoroughly loved the process, particularly working with Akhil and his long-time buddy Aju Varghese.

The Pharma actor disclosed that preparations are on for a follow-up to Action Hero Biju, one of his box office hits. He went on to say that the film's realistic storytelling approach altered the style of cop dramas. Nivin went on to say that the movie was a novel experience that received mixed reviews in theatres after its premiere and gradually gained traction among viewers. He also disclosed that after a string of successes in his profession, he was first perplexed because his friends were always encouraging him to pursue his acting potential instead of focussing mostly on comedic performers. "Instead of feeling a pressure, I was confused," he stated.
