The Baby Girl team has wrapped up the film and its leading star Nivin Pauly would be heading on to sets of Akhil Sathyan’s film, reportedly titled The Ghost Story.

The upcoming Malayalam film Baby Girl, starring Nivin Pauly and directed by Arun Varma, has been in the news for a while. In the latest update, the team has wrapped up the film, and its leading star Nivin Pauly will be heading onto the sets of Akhil Sathyan’s film, reportedly titled The Ghost Story. Here are all the updates about Nivin Pauly’s two upcoming Malayalam films.
Nivin Pauly’s Baby Girl wraps up shoot
Nivin Pauly-starrer Baby Girl has wrapped up the shoot, online trackers have reported. Apart from Nivin, the film also features Lijomol Jose, Aditi Ravi, Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame, Marco villain Abhimanyu Thilakan, and Azees Nedumangad, among others.
Kunchacko Boban was earlier announced as the leading man of Baby Girl, but in a last-minute change, he had to opt out and Nivin Pauly came on board.
Arun Varma, who previously directed Garudan, has helmed the movie, which is being backed by Listin Stephen. Baby Girl had also been the centre of a controversy after Listin Stephen made some comments against a leading actor. Though he did not name the actor, speculations were rife that his comments were aimed at Nivin.
Baby Girl, touted to be a thriller, is penned by Bobby and Sanjay, known for scripting Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Mumbai Police and Kaanekkaane, among others.
Nivin Pauly’s The Ghost Story
The Malayalee from India actor will now join Akhil Sathyan’s film, touted to have elements of fantasy, shortly. The second schedule of the film is currently ongoing in Ottapalam. The film marks the second directorial venture of Akhil after Fahadh Faasil-starrer Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum. The film also features Aju Varghese. Both Nivin and Aju have done several hit films together such as Thattathin Marayathu, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, and Ohm Shanthi Oshaana.
The duo were also part of Varshangalkku Shesham, which starred Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan. The Premam actor also has Thamar K V’s Dolby Dineshan in his pipeline.
