Actor Dhanush is undoubtedly one of the busiest actors in the Tamil film industry. While the actor was last seen in the Pongal release Captain Miller , playing the role of a soldier who rises in his ranks and becomes a rebel, the actor also has a slew of projects in the pipeline.

Amid his busy schedule, several rumours were doing rounds regarding the casting of his next film. However, the actor’s publicist manager rubbished the speculations and confirmed it to be fake news.

No casting calls issued for actor’s next:

While messages have been circulating regarding the casting call of Dhanush’s next film, Riaz K Ahmed who is the publicist manager of the actor rubbished the information. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he posted, “This is to bring to your notice that a message is being circulated with a name and phone number claiming to be a Casting call requirement for #Dhanush Sir's next film. This is untrue, therefore requesting you to kindly verify before sharing details.” While it is common in the film fraternity to have such speculations, however this time, it is has been nullified and declared false.

Dhanush’s upcoming projects:

Dhanush was last seen in Captain Miller, a period action film directed by Arun Matheswaran. The actor has a slew of films he had announced earlier. While he confirmed that he will be reuniting with directors Arun and Mari Selvaraj once again, the actor will also team up with Hindi filmmaker Aanand L Rai once again for film titled Tere Ishk Mein. The actor is also getting busy with his directorial projects as well. Dhanush will be directing D50 for Sun Pictures, which will also feature him as lead actor. Besides this, he also announced his third directorial project, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, which will feature a host of young talents, including Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Rabiya Khatoon, Pavish V, Ramya Ranganathan and Venkatesh Menon. However, a release date for all the above mentioned projects are yet to be announced.
