Anees Bazmee and Salman Khan collaborated for the hit comedy movie, No Entry in 2005. The two were reported to start work on a sequel and the director has now opened up about the latest updates about the project.
Talking to PTI, the director said, “The scripting of 'No Entry 2' is complete and I've narrated it to Salman, who loved the film. It's a nicely written and an extremely funny film. It'll be a big franchise. I know the audience is waiting to see what happens in part two.”
Bazmee also said that he ran into Salman Khan at Baba Siddique's iftar party where the superstar said that they could start the film soon and that he is ready. Bazmee further added that Salman will call him one day and give him the date and that the actor is excited for the project.
No Entry is a comedy, which stars a lot of stars including Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly. Salman Khan put the rumours of a sequel to bed when he announced the movie on his last birthday.
Salman, who was last seen in Antim: The Last Truth, is currently working on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Tiger 3. The Bollywood star will also appear in a cameo role in Chiranjeevi’s upcoming project, Godfather. Godfather is the Hindi remake of the hit Malayalam movie, Lucifer and Salman is expected to play Prithviraj Sukumaran’s role from the original.
On the other hand, Bazmee is currently awaiting the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which stars Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani. The sequel is set to hit theatres on May 20.
