Anees Bazmee is all set to direct the sequel to his 2005 film, No Entry. The film has been grabbing headlines ever since it first surfaced on social media. No Entry 2 is one of the most awaited films, and over the past few months, there have been significant developments in terms of finalizing the lead male actors. It was earlier reported that Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor will share the screen space in the sequel, but now a report mentioned that Diljit has opted out of the film for some reason.
Filmfare reported that Diljit Dosanjh, who was excited to work with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in No Entry 2, has opted out of the film due to creative issues. A source informed the portal, "Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn't align with the film's creative ideas. That's why he's decided to leave the project because of creative differences."

No Entry 2 recce has already begun in Greece. The film is currently in pre-production and Boney Kapoor has joined Anees Bazmee in Greece. They are scouting locations and Bazmee seems to have finalized a few.
Earlier in February 2025, Anees shared some glimpses of the locations and wrote, "Plotting new adventures in Greece with the producer Boney Kapoor ji and DOP Manu Anand ji! Prepping for the madness that's #NoEntry2."
Meanwhile, No Entry 2, tentatively titled No Entry Mein Entry, is likely to go on floors in June or July. The film is likely to be released in Diwali 2025.
