The last time Bipasha Basu was seen on the big screen was approximately eight years ago. Since his last film, Alone (2015), the actor has been searching for new and challenging roles. Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover announced the birth of their daughter Devi in November of last year. Despite her newfound dedication to parenting, the actor never stopped reading scripts in search of the perfect part.

As per reports in Mid Day, the actor has been in contact with the producers of No Entry about a major role in the film's upcoming sequel.

A source told the tabloid that things are moving fairly fast. Salman Khan will take a brief break after the completion of Tiger 3 and then jump right into this project. It's been on the table for a long time to make No Entry 2. Bipasha was the game-changer the last time around, and the producers knew they couldn't move forward without her.

She is rumoured to be playing a sassy and stylish persona while maintaining a healthy dose of humour and charisma. Anees Bazmee was supposed to direct the film, but now it's being reported that he will get started on his project with Shahid Kapoor instead.

The source added that there is some time before the No Entry sequel goes on floors, which will give everyone enough time to regroup.

Bipasha made her OTT debut in 2020 with Dangerous, in which she starred opposite Karan. Vikram Bhatt and Bhushan Patel are the producers and directors of the crime thriller miniseries, which is available on MX Player. Sonali Raut, Natasha Suri, Suyyash Rai, and Nitin Arora played supporting roles in Dangerous.

Meanwhile, the 2003 release No Entry comprised an ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Celina Jaitly, and Boman Irani. The film was an instant hit at the box office, despite criticism.
