No Gain No Love episode 2 is all about Kim Young-dae and Lee Sang-yi

Desperate to get married already, Shin Min-a’s Son Hae-yeong joins a marketplace in search for a groom. Having a soft spot for her and already having heard the proposal, Kim Young-dae’s Kim Ji-uk approaches her again. They finally strike a deal, but not everything is as expected even now.
The topic of Son Hae-yeong’s wedding was touched upon in the last episode of No Gain No Love itself. In this episode, she has become desperate to walk down the aisle and make her fake wedding look realistic. She needs everything to be perfect in order to gain the most from her workplace after faking the marriage. Although Shin Min-a is the face of the series and the episode, it is Kim Young-dae who holds this episode together, mainly owing to his savage behaviour.
The most important scene from episode 1 made it to the beginning of episode 2. But, this is not before we get an introduction of Kim Ji-uk and his relationship with his grandmother. The scene becomes an important one because it gives us not only a background of Ji-uk's bonding with his grandmother but also who he really is.
The reason why Ji-uk hates Son Hae-yeong so much is also explored this time, and while it does justice, it is evidently not the full story.
Lee Sang-yi's Bok Gyu-hyun is the one who takes all of the limelight in this episode. He drags all the attention towards himself with his actions every time he is on the screen. PS: The name is very much because of the 'Fok Yu' scene in My Demon.
Go Wook as Ahn Woo-jae comes in one scene and kills it with his presence. However, of course, it is Shin Min-a who holds the show together, while Kim Young-dae makes the episode worth your while. He ends up becoming a memorable face by the end of the episode too.
Ju Min-kyung as Hae-yeong's friend/adopted sister Cha hui-seong is, like always, the sensible one in the group. Han Ji-hyun's Nam Ja-yeon is still just a friend to Hae-yeong and we finally get the first glimpse of how she will get close with Bok Gyu-hyun.
The first romantic scene between Hae-yeong and Ji-uk is here, and it is pretty, even if slightly absurd. Just as Ji-uk is cute, he also has a savage side to him, which is visible throughout this episode. The savage lines are definitely worth noting.
And just like that, the wedding preparations begin! Hae-yeong goes shopping for her wedding dress with, no guesses, Ji-uk. It does not go like you expect it to, but that is a good thing!
In case you are Kim Young-dae’s fan, then you cannot miss this episode. If you aren’t his fan, watch the episode and you might just start liking him. Nonetheless, this one is dedicated to him, right from his savage behaviour to giving the viewers a surprise factor. Lee Sang-yi's Bok Gyu-hyun is the second best thing in episode 2 of No Gain No Love.
