Kim Young-dae’s Ji-uk just had a big realization about his real father. He now wants some answers, and they will decide his future in Korea, if he even has one ahead. Among giving up on the many things, it looks like Ji-uk has finally decided to also give up on Shin Min-ah’s Hae-yeong. He already regrets marrying her and now, Ji-uk might want to leave his fake wife again. Here’s what you can expect from the ninth episode of No Gain No Love…
Kim Young-dae's Ji-uk tells Shin Min-ah's Hae-yeong that he would make an appointment with President, aka Gyu-hyun (Lee Sang-yi)'s father Ki-ho (Choi Jin-ho), who also happens to be Ji-uk's father. Ji-uk has just gotten to know about his real father and wants answers.
Hearing his decision, Hae-yeong is still concerned if she would be safe if Ji-uk quits. She wonders what would happen to her if their shenanigan (of their wedding being a fake one, to reap company benefits) falls apart.
Hui-seong (Joo Min-kyung) questions if Hae-yeong feels she's getting fired. The latter confirms she's not getting fired, but Hui-seong believes there's only one thing that they could do in the given situation. What that is, has not been revealed.
Ja-yeon (Han Ji-hyun) wants to sign a contract and move in to a new place. She drops her phone and is scared after getting a call.
Gyu-hyun's mother, Jeong-a (Lee Il-hwa), is furious because Ji-uk is not in a different country despite her orders. She is also Ji-uk's mother and did not want him to come back. But, Ji-uk is here, closely associated with them, and so is she.
Ji-uk tells Hae-yeong he is scared that them getting married might have been a mistake. This is when the two share another cute moment.
Ji-uk talks to Gyu-hyun. The latter asks him to choose between ruining his mother's life and be with Hae-yeong or quietly leave Korea. Ji-uk responds by stating that Hae-yeong no longer exists in his life.
