His last film, Leo, was met with positive reception for his acting, reiterating how seasoned he has become. While his fans waited for the actor to further explore the acting arena, the political turn has indeed brought them disappointment. From wanting to see Vijay in Leo 2, to seeing him resign films at the peak of his career, read further to know their reactions.

Fans have been raving about the actor’s fan following and how he was one of the few stars who have been able to pull crowds to the theatres with ease. However, on the other hand, fans have also been comparing Vijay’s plunge to cricketer MS Dhoni’s retirement and how they will be seeing that last of their favourites very soon before they end their tenure. Other reactions include.

Vijay’s upcoming lineup:

Vijay, who was last seen in Leo, under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial, has GOAT- Greatest of All Time coming up with Venkat Prabhu. The actor will be collaborating for the first time with the filmmaker. GOAT is expected to feature Vijay in two avatar, young and old. Prashanth, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudheva, Ajmal Ameer and others are also part of the film. Apart from this, Vijay is also speculated to do one more film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69. Reports suggest that Karthik Subbaraj will be directing the film. However no official confirmation has been made on this. It is also unsure if Vijay will comeback for the speculated Leo 2 or to LCU.
