Empuraan director Prithviraj Sukumaran returns to acting as his next film, Nobody, has been officially launched. The upcoming Malayalam film also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, reuniting her with the Ennu Ninte Moideen co-star. Nobody is helmed by noted filmmaker Nissam Basheer.
The filming of Nobody, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Parvathy Thiruvothu, has begun with a traditional ceremony in Ernakulam. Though details of the plot are not known, it promises to be a tale of intense emotions backed by power-packed performances.
The film is backed by Supriya Menon, Mukesh Mehta, and CV Sarathi, under the banners of Prithviraj Productions and E4 Experiments.
Led by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu, Nobody also features Ashokan, Madhupal, Hakkim Shajahan, Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi and Vinay Fort in key roles.
Sameer Abdul has penned the film, which has music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar who is known for his compositions in the Bollywood film Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor. Dinesh Purushothaman serves as the DOP in Nobody.
Expectations are high from Nobody as it reunites Prithviraj and Parvathy, who have been part of several stellar films such as Koode. Another exciting feature is that Nobody is helmed by Nissam Basheer, who has previously directed Mammootty-starrer Rorschach and Asif Ali’s Kettiyollaanu Ente Maalakha, both of which garnered praise.
Meanwhile, Nobody marks Prithviraj’s return to acting after the release of his third directorial, Empuraan. The Mohanlal-starrer has been running successfully in theatres even though it faced much scrutiny and criticism upon its release on March 27. Empuraan is the sequel to the blockbuster Lucifer, which was also directed by Prithviraj. You can watch Lucifer on OTTplay Premium.
Before venturing into direction, Prithviraj had established himself as a bankable star in Malayalam. He started his acting career during the 2000s and went on to act in several popular movies such as the heart-warming Classmates, Ayalum Njanum Thammil and the hilarious Amar Akbar Anthony. The actor has also donned several cop roles in movies such as Cold Case and Memories.
