Naveen Shankar, who made his debut as leading man with 2018’s cyber thriller Gultoo, has carefully crafted an image of a discerning actor, with films like Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage, Hondisi Bareyiri and Kshetrapati, was recently seen in yet another ‘different’ movie called Nodidavaru Enanthare. A slow burner journey of self-discovery, Nodidavaru Enantare, had released in theatres on January 31, 2025, to largely positive reviews and completed a 25-day run at the box office.
The film, we hear, has locked a streaming partner. Amazon Prime Video will make Nodidavaru Enantare available shortly. The team is said to have uploaded the content and is waiting for the green signal from the platform about when it will go live. According to reports, Nodidavaru Enantare is likely to be available to stream as early as this week, with March 20, 2025, cited as the possible date. The film is currently available for audiences in the UK and US, albeit on transactional video-on-demand only.

The film, directed by Kuldeep Cariappa, also stars Apoorva Bharadwaj, Padmavati Rao, Sonu Gowda, among others. During the making of Nodidavaru Enantare, for a particular sequence, Naveen needed a physical transformation and drop further weight, which he, reportedly, did with a liquid-only diet, the effect of which had him suffer a mild heart attack.
