Nodidavaru Enantare out on OTT: Nodidavaru Enantare, which released in theatres on January 31, 2025, is among the few Kannada films this year to have managed an OTT deal.

Kuldeep Cariappa, one of the filmmakers who was a part of the anthology BTS, made his feature film debut with Nodidavaru Enantare, a film featuring Naveen Shankar in the lead and dealing with the existential crisis of the protagonist. Released in theatres on January 31, 2025, the film opened to positive reviews, even though it is a slow burner. The film is among a select few Kannada titles that have made it to OTT, given that close to 60-odd released in theatres in the first 3 months of the year.
Nodidavaru Enantare out on Amazon Prime Video
A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Nodidavaru Enantare, like most Kannada films that get OTT deals (pay-per-view), was headed to Amazon Prime Video as its post-release destination. At the time, a date was not available, but the team had already uploaded the content on the streamer and was awaiting word on when it would begin streaming. On March 20, it was revealed that the film would begin streaming on the platform on March 21, and it is, indeed available now.
Starring Gultoo fame Naveen Shankar in the lead, Nodidavaru Enantare was an exploration of his character Siddarth’s journey of self discovery. Brought up by his father, who never remarried, after his mother walked out on the two of them, Siddarth harbours acute resentment against the woman, fuelled by years of hearing people in the neighbourhood bad mouth her.
Yet he also craves to meet her once and find out why she abandoned him. When his love life and career implode, he sets out on a journey to find answers to all the questions he has. Along the way, he meets Nadia (Apoorva Bharadwaj), with their relationship, also bringing in a major change in Siddharth’s life.
During the making of the film, Kuldeep wanted Naveen to shed weight, which the actor did and sported a very gaunt physique in a particular sequence in the film. However, as a result of the rigorous diet that Naveen was on, he experienced a health scare, suffering a minor heart attack in the process.
