The acclaimed Oscar winning-director Jordan Peele has announced his third directorial, a horror drama titled Nope. The comedian-turned-director announced the film by sharing a poster on his social media handles on Thursday.
The poster with a grim look suggests that the director will be continuing with the horror genre, much like his previous two movies. The poster showed a dark cloud in the dark sky, attached to a colourful kite tail. In the backdrop is a town situated in a mountain valley.
Nope will star Daniel Kaluuya, who recently won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Judas and the Black Messiah. Kaluuya also starred in Peele’s first feature Get Out. The film also stars Keke Palmer from Hustlers and Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead and Minari.

Peele returned in 2019 with Us, another twisted horror film that told the story of a family attacked by menacing dopplegangers. Us stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke and Elisabeth Moss.
Apart from this, Peele is also gearing up for the release of Candyman, which is produced and co-written by him. Releasing on August 27, the film is directed by Nia DaCosta.
