Putting an end to speculations, Anushka Sharma has dropped an Instagram story confirming her presence in Bengaluru, Karnataka instead of Cannes in France. Earlier in the morning, news reports claimed that Anushka is headed for Cannes Film Festival as she was clicked by the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport.

In Bengaluru, Anushka will soon be headed to Chinnaswamy Stadium to cheer for her husband Virat Kohli and the IPL team of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The weather conditions in the city appear to be cloudy and humid and Anushka’s Instagram story is evidence of the same.

Today’s cricket match is very important from Bangalore's point of view as they need to win the match against Gujarat Titan to be able to be amongst top four teams.

Anushka, on the other hand, will soon be heading to Cannes in France wherein she is expected to grace the Cannes Film Festival. Till now, Indian celebrities like Sara Ali Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vijay Varma, Anurag Kashyap, Urvashi Rautela, Mrunal Thakur, Diana Penty, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar, Guneet Monga among others have graced the event.

High profile entrepreneurs like Apple CEO Tim Cook, boAt CEO Aman Gupta, designer couple Shane and Falguni Peacock have also marked their attendance at the event.

This year, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L Murugan led the Indian Delegation to Cannes International Film Festival. Dr. Murugan was accompanied by filmmaker Guneet Monga, actresses Manushi Chhillar, Esha Gupta and actor Kangabam Tomba - whose restored film ‘Ishanau’, is being screened in Cannes Classic Section this year.
