Siddharth Anand has begun the countdown for Fighter, with Hrithik Roshan playing Shamsher Pathania and Deepika Padukone portraying Minal Rathore. Beginning with the teaser premiere in December, the makers proceeded to release three songs: Sher Khul Gaye, Ishq Jaisa Kuch, and Heer Aasmani, marking the continuation of their promotional campaign. The expected release date of the theatrical trailer for this Hrithik, Deepika, and Anil Kapoor film has been the subject of much speculation in recent days.

Speculations on trailer release

As per reports in Pinkvilla, rumour has it that Siddharth has secret intentions to release the primary asset of his aerial action movie on January 10, the same day that Hrithik Roshan celebrates his 50th birthday. However, this is not the case. On January 15, the filmmaker will reveal Fighter's trailer. According to a source familiar with the matter, he has spent the past month perfecting the trailer and has now settled on a cut that would reflect the national sentiment around Republic Day.

An insider reveals that the trailer will bring a complete template change compared to all the previously released assets. Hrithik will deliver high-octane language and an abundance of patriotism in the trailer, implying that the most exciting elements are being saved for the end. Audiences should anticipate bold dialogues and an Indo-Pak conflict as Siddharth unveils all that was concealed in the theatrical trailer, while setting aside the graphics.

Fighter to release on India’s 75th Republic Day

On January 25, 2024, the night before India’s 75th Republic Day, Fighter will be released, marking the ultimate film’s premiere. Marflix Pictures (Mamta Anand and Siddharth Anand) and Viacom 18 are producing the film, hailed as India's first airborne action franchise. This is Hrithik and Sid's third film together, following Bang Bang and War, and also his third outing with Deepika, following Bachna Ae Haseeno and Pathaan.

Talking more about Fighter, the film also stars Anil Kapoor as the boss man to Hrithik and Deepika, while the rest of the cast includes Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, and Sanjeeda Shaikh, among others.
