Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor have teamed up for their next movie which is bankrolled by Karan Johar. The film is helmed by Raj Mehta, who wanted to collaborate with the duo since a while. This film now, according to PeepingMoon, is underway with the location(s) being finalized.

About the movie titled Lag Jaa Gale

Raj Mehta's film is the reworked version of his own movie, Deadly. Back then, Badlapur actor Varun Dhawan was also supposed to be a part of the movie. The film did not work back then, which is why he moved on to JugJugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani (Game Changer), Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Now, according to Pinkvilla, the film has been titled Lag Jaa Gale. "Several titles were under consideration, but the team unanimously felt that Lag Jaa Gale best captured the soul of the story. It's a classic revenge-drama, but with deeply embedded love story at its core," a source informed.

Janhvi Kapoor's sixth film with Karan Johar

Janhvi Kapoor has become a hit with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is now working on her sixth film with the producer. She started her career with the filmmaker through Dhadak (Sairat's Hindi remake), followed by Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Mr & Mrs Mahi. She is now working on Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (third in Dulhania franchise) with Varun and is awaiting the release of Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound. Meanwhile, this is Tiger's second film with the producer after SOTY 2.
