O Saathiya on OTT: The Aryan Gowra and Mishti Chakraborty romantic drama clocks 50 million minutes

O Saathiya featuring Aryan Gowra and Mishti Chakraborty is a romantic drama that was released on July 7, 2023. The film was made on a decent budget and was also promoted in a proper way before the release. Directed by Divya Bhavana, the film had a story by Aryan and Deepu. It was bankrolled by Chandana Katta under Thanvika Jashwika Creations. 

The film started on a decent note but slowed down a bit later at the box office. We at OTTplay have already reported that the digital rights of the film were bagged by Amazon Prime Video for a fancy price. The film is already streaming on Prime Video from August 17, 2023 onwards. 

Now, the news is that the film has clocked 50 million minutes so far. The makers are happy and say that clocking 50 million minutes for a small film is a very big achievement. Speaking about this, the producer Chandana Katta says that O Saathiya is an emotional love story that the audience is loving on OTT and that is the reason their film has clocked the above said 50 million minutes. 

O Saathiya has a simple, straightforward story, revolving around the highs and the lows in the relationship between two college sweethearts. Mishti Chakraborty made a comeback to Telugu cinema after a long time and her performance was appreciated in the film. The film's strength lies in its first half which has been kept light-hearted and the second half focuses on emotions. 

EJ Venu has worked as the director of photography. Vinod Kumar composed the music for this film while Aryan and Deepu penned the story Devi Prasad, Pramodini Pammi, Kalpalatha, Annapurnamma, Appaji Ambarisha, and Sivannarayana play key roles in the film.
