October 2021 Week 3 OTT movies, web series India releases: From Rashmi Rocket, Sardar Udham to You season 3

It's a festive time in the third week of October. With Dussehra being celebrated on October 15, 2021, several Indian titles are releasing in and around that date. Among the most awaited films include Rashmi Rocket and Sardar Udham in Hindi while Tamil film Udanpirappe is also getting a release on OTT this week. Moreover, Little Things is coming one last time for the final season. 

Talking about the English titles, You season three is finally making its way on Netflix much to the excitement of the fans. Whereas the series adaptation of I Know What You Did Last Summer is streaming on Amazon Prime Video this week.

Another Life is about an astronaut named Niko Breckinridge played by Katee Sackhoff who is focused on searching for alien intelligence. She leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artefact. As they start investigating, Niko and her young crew face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.

The second season will see them witnessing the annihilation of a planet and how they negotiate with aliens who are capable of such brutality. 

Convergence reveals the power of compassion and community in the face of a crisis. It is an epic collaboration that spans eight countries and showcases nine individual stories.

Set against the backdrop of a college, Friendship is a story about two friends who go out of their way to help a girl get a justice who is sexually abused and killed by goons. 

A group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night in this upcoming series. The series adaptation of the hit movie is set in a town full of secrets. 

Middle-age couple Niranjan Singh and Satwant Kaur, parents of four sons, live in a village on the outskirts of Mohali, Punjab. However, their children don't have any time for them. So they decide to have another child.

The upcoming anthology series is of comedy, fantasy and horror genres. It's based on the graphic novels by RL Stine. 

The animated film is about Karma Grant who is an aspiring musical artist and rapper with big talent and an even bigger heart. She is smart, resilient, and deeply empathetic, also pours her soul into songwriting, channelling her feelings into whip-smart rhymes with passion, courage and her signature brand of humour.

After being together for six years, Dhruv and Kavya make a transition from young love to a mature relationship. They will be seen navigating questions about commitment, health, ambition as well as family. 

Rashmi Rocket is a story about a small-town girl who breaks all societal barriers and becomes a national-level athlete. However, she faces an obstacle when she is asked to undergo a gender test. 

Sanak is about a lone hero who fights an overwhelming and odd situation while being in a restricted environment. He leaves no stone unturned in saving his wife and other helpless hostages stuck in a hospital. 

The series is about Ajay and Ragini, an ambitious couple who relocate from a small town to Mumbai in search of a better life. Ajay, a junior lawyer, is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by Mr Shekawat in exchange for compromising his morals. 

Sardar Udham is about the Indian Revolutionary who assassinated Michael O Dwyer in London, the man behind the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre on April 13, 1919. 

A full-time bank employee and part-time kabaddi coach want to bring national relevance to the school his father built. He wants to help young kabaddi players in his village win the national championship.

The series tracks the lives of the Roy family. They are contemplating their future once their ageing father (Brian Cox) begins to step back from the media and entertainment conglomerate they control.

The thriller series is based on the lives of an ordinary middle-class family that stood together. They have blurred all the lines to protect and support each other after a terrifying incident that turned their world upside down.

In November 1944, on the flooded island of Walcheren in Zeeland, thousands of allies fight the German army. The film touches upon the lives of three young people who are inextricably connected. One is a Dutch boy fighting for the Germans, while another is an English glider pilot. Whereas the Zeeland girl reluctantly joins the resistance and become involved. In the first episode of the third season of the Netflix documentary series, the makers will be examining the 1986 sci-fi film Aliens directed by James Cameron. 

The couple named Lars (Aksel Hennie) and Lisa (Noomi Rapace) has lost much of the love that brought them together in the first place. As they are struggling to maintain their marriage, they are also struggling with their ambitions. Lars as a director has stalled out in soap operas while Lisa hasn't landed a part in years. 

While Sargunam insists on going by the law diligently, Vairavan believes that justice must be fought over. This creates a rift between both the characters and Mathangi's efforts seem wasted. The suspense is that will Mathangi succeed in uniting her family in this emotional drama.

They are surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers and also Insta-famous biohackers. Although Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad, he fears Love’s lethal impulsiveness.
